Solar Eclipse Viewing

Experience 87% totality for the 2024 Great American Eclipse! A short walk from the hotel to a large park will provide wide-open skies to witness this historic event. We will have an extended break Monday afternoon to provide ample viewing time leading up to the maximum partial eclipse at 15:20. Eclipse glasses will be provided to all attendees.

Getting there

Option 1: Walk (0.3 miles / 500 m) to the King Street Metrorail Station and take the free King Street Trolley to the end of King Street (City Hall/Market Square stop). Walk (0.2 miles / 300 m) to the marina from the bus stop.

Option 2: Walk from the hotel to the marina. Approximately 1.5 miles / 2.5 km.

Option 3: Taxi/Rideshare
